Dr. Scholl's® For Her High Heel Insoles Review

I received Dr. Scholl's® For Her High Heel Insoles in my Sunkissed Vox Box from Influenster a couple of weeks ago, and I was so pumped! I am a long time user of insoles for my heels. I am NOT the girl who can wear heels all day without a little help. Trust me, you do not want to be around me if my feet hurt.

I loved the Dr. Scholl's® For Her High Heel Insoles! They were thin enough to fit into my shoes without squishing my feet, and they made my heels so comfy! I will definitely be wearing these again, and again, and again.

Shoe Love

Call me crazy, but I'm already thinking about fall. Crisp air, football, low humidity, etc. I've also been doing a little thinking about fall footwear, and I took the liberty of putting together some of my favorites.

Shoes for fall

Tory Burch flat / Tory Burch shoes / Christian Louboutin heels / Manolo Blahnik high heels / Christian Louboutin wedge boots / Tory Burch boots / Christian Louboutin high heels

I know that not all none of these beauties will be coming home with me anytime soon. Believe me, it makes me want to cry. So I don't think about it. I just pretend like I'm going to own them all.

High Five For Friday

I've never been so happy to see a Friday in my life. I worked yesterday, and I work today. Seeing people's "I'm having fun" pictures has been almost unbearable.

1. I went to Brew Fest with Kris on Saturday. I don't drink beer, but it was still fun.

2. There was a bag of Doritos in our cabinet. I thought they were Kris's, but I couldn't help myself. Turns out, he bought them for me. True love, folks.

3. I was sick on Wednesday, and this magazine was mighty good company.

4. I think my dogs have dependency issues.

5. After almost 4 days of rain this is what my backyard looks like. Maybe I should host a mud wrestling tournament.

Linking up with Lauren, and hoping you have a happy weekend!

Goody's Ouchless Ribbon Elastics Review

I received Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics in my Sunkissed Vox Box from Influenster last week, and I was so excited! Here's what I thought about them.

These are probably my favorite of all the products in my Vox Box because I am always needing a hair tie. I'm the girl who pulls her hair up before the day is over. I almost always have a hair tie on my wrist. I've used other brands of the ribbon elastics, but they are so expensive. Who wants to pay $2 for 1 hair tie? Not me! Goody makes them affordable at $3.99 for 5!

I love that these don't pull at my hair or leave creases. Plus, they double as a bracelet. Goody is a brand I trust, I'll definitely be buying these for my friends.

Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream Review

I received Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream in my Sunkissed Vox Box from Influenster last week, and I was so excited! Here's what I thought about it.

I received this in the light to fair shade. It's perfect for me, but it is very light. If you have any color to your skin it might be too light for you and you should try the next darker shade. It offers 6 skincare benefits in one step. It refreshes, smoothes, and brightens skin, it evens out skin tone, and it is very hydrating. Plus, it has 15 SPF, so it's definitely going to be a regular on the beach bag circuit.

Overall, this BB Cream has a really nice texture and smell, and while it offers sheer coverage, I don't think this will work for me every day. I just like a little more coverage, but it'll be great for weekends and pool days.

Style Statement Tuesday: Redefining

I've defined my style statement as "Classic Pretty." In the first Style Statement Tuesday post, I said this:
I love feminine, simple, timeless pieces. I like anything that makes me feel "pretty." I don't get carried away with trends and I lean towards pieces that will always be wearable.
While all that is true, I think I've always been a little uncomfortable with the "pretty" part of my style statement. I do love to feel and look pretty, but pretty isn't necessarily my first concern. I tend to gravitate towards more casual or effortless pieces first. For example, this skirt:

It's beautiful. I love it. It screams femininity, but I don't know where or what occasion I would ever wear it. That gorgeous item of clothing would hang in my closet waiting for the perfect event that would never come. It would die a death far worse that it deserves.

I'm just much more practical and casual when it comes to my clothes. I'll never be as put together as Rach or as effortlessly chic as Kendi. I'd like to think of  myself as a dolled-up beauty queen, but that's just not who I am. The proof is in the pictures.
