Style Statement Tuesday

This week's outfit is a shining example of how I wear some version of last week's outfit a lot. Like, a lot a lot. Maybe too much? Nah.

Shirt: Ann Taylor, Skirt: J.Crew, Scarf: JC Penney, Boots: Target, Watch: Michael Kors

I love this look. I can't get enough of wearing skirts, boots, and scarves this season. It's too easy. I like to choose skirts with classic cuts, but in trendier prints/fabrics. I also like more classic shirts, like button up or tees paired with more interesting scarves. That way I can be true to my "Classic Pretty" style statement without being too boring. BTW, what do you think of our Christmas stockings and my closet door? It was so cold I took these inside. Don't judge me.

A little piece of me died

If you like Love & Loyally on Facebook, you may remember a post about Tory Burch from a few weeks ago. If you don't, I'll tell you story. I was shopping with my husband. Here was our convo:

Me: I'd like some Tory Burch flats.
Him: What is a Tory Burch flat?

A little piece of me died right then and there. So, as an ode to Tory, my BFF, here are some Tory favorites.

I'm in New York for work today, but I'm still glad it's Friday. Here are my five:

New Name Coming Soon!

OK guys, I've decided to take the plunge. Thanks to all of you who piped in, I've decided to change the name of this here blog. I'll announce this weekend.

It's OK

I'm linking up for It's OK Thursday. This week I am really struggling with some things, and I'm trying to tell myself it'll all be OK. I'm not entirely convinced it will. I'm in a special kind of mood today, so consider yourself warned.

It's OK...

That my husband refuses to buy Christmas presents early

That I didn't do my long run last week, I'll probably do it this week

That I feel like my life in fast forward mode, it has to slow down eventually, right?

That after 6 months my house still isn't the way I want it

That I'm disappointed we're not spending Christmas just Kris and me

That I'm in a special kind of mood today

That I'm a teeny bit scared to run off to New York by myself this morning

A new name

OK it's time for a new name. Look up to see it.

I happen to love it! While I thought, "The Only Ten I See" was a super cute name, "Love & Loyally, JMG" (love & loyally or L&L for short, because I like nick names) just fits me.

I want to say a quick thanks to all of you who have supported me from the get go. I appreciate every single one of my reader so much. Words can't express how grateful I am to all of you who take a few minutes each day to visit me.

No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. I did get a new blog design. Thanks to Designer Blogs, I have pretty new design! I love it! What do you think?

I'm also toying with changing the name of my blog. How do you guys feel about that? I want something that is a little more personal.
