Style Statement Tuesday

Hey, loves! It's time for Style Statement Tuesday. This week, surprisingly, I'm not wearing jeans! It's a real life miracle!

Now, don't get too excited. The only reason I'm not wearing jeans is because I forgot to pack them. The lord works in mysterious ways.

Shirt: The Limited; Sweater & Pants: J.Crew Factory; Shoes: Target

I feel like this outfit is pretty true to my "Classic Pretty" style statement. A button up under a sweater is pretty much my MO, and these pants are a pretty classic silhouette. The shoes are a little trendier, and the polka dots on the shirt add a little something. (Side note: I wear this shirt a lot. Probably too much!)  But, overall, nothing crazy going on here. That's just how I like it.

I might also suggest to myself adding a necklace. Maybe a turquoise or emerald colored necklace?

I work in a pretty casual environment, so I'd totally wear this to work. The only thing I might change for work is the shoes. I'd wear my black pumps. I also think a leopard clutch would look super cute. I don't have a leopard clutch, but still. You get the point.

  1. Nice, and yes, I could definitely see you in some leopard print pumps or purse to really set off this outfit. Thanks for hosting again this week and have a fantastical day!

  2. This is great! I would definitely add a sparkly necklace... but we all know I have an obsession with sparkle, so, grain of salt?
