You know the feeling you get when you lose an accessory you love? It sucks, but unfortunately it happens. About 2 years ago I got a pair of totally rock star earrings. I loved them! They were a regular on my accessory circuit. It was a match made in heaven...until I lost one of them.
How is it that you always lose one sock or one earring? Never both, there's always one left reminding you of your carelessness.
Last week, I saw my lone earring and felt the familiar pang. Then, I saw the other one. I couldn't believe it! The earring wasn't lost! So, in honor of my reconciliation with my long lost love I wore them on my last date night with Kris. What a happy day!

Nail Polish - A Brand You Should Know
I am obsessed with painting my nails. I love to change my polish 2-3 times (or more) a week! However, nail polish can be expensive. Who wants to pay $8 for a bottle of polish? Not this girl. But, I do it because I'm addicted. Nothing (well, not nothing but you get the picture) excites me more than having freshly painted nails. I can't wear jewelry to work so my nails are a way I can express my style (and scarves, I wear scarves inappropriately often...I pretend they're necklaces).
I'd seen the brand Sinful Colors for quite sometime when I would shop for nail polish. I was attracted to the bright, fun colors offered, but the price, $1.99, turned me off. I figured nail polish that inexpensive would be crappy. I thought it would probably chip or peel off in hours. It took me about 2 years to try it, but boy was I wrong! I love Sinful Colors! I have purchased 3 bottles now and am on the lookout for more. I buy at Walgreens or Target. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Mondays...
Today, I have a case of the Mondays. Blah. I thought I'd post a couple of pics to (hopefully) lift my spirits.I got these jeans this weekend and LOVE them. I had to go up a size because they're super skinny and kind of a lower rise, but that's OK. Their cuteness makes up for it.

Time for change
As much fun as it has been these past few month coming up with 10 new and exciting things to share, I feel it's time to the take my blog in a new direction. First, I'm just not as creative as I thought. Finding 10 things to talk about 2-3 times a week is tough! Second, I feel by not limiting myself I can blog about more helpful and unique topics. Third, every now and then, as a throw back, I'll post 10 things. I decided I'm keeping the name because I think it's cute and I'm from Tennessee. I hope you continue to read!

10 Days of Super Easy Ways to Style Your Hair: Day 10
10. Down & Messy with a Twist. This is a variation on Day 2's style. It literally took about 60 seconds to do. So style exactly like Day 2. Next, twist the front part (about an inch) of the left side of your hair and pin it back. Repeat with the right side. Last, mist a little hairspray. You're done! Super cute & fun, plus so so easy!

10 Days of Super Easy Ways to Style Your Hair: Day 9
9. Side knot with a twist. This style was fun to try. I washed my hair and let it air dry. I put a pea size amount of Aveda Smooth Infusion Prep Style Smoother in it about an hour into the air dry process. After my hair was 100% dry, I twisted my bangs to the side and secured with 2 bobby pins. Then, I pulled my hair to the left side of my head, like I was going to put it in a side pony. Next, I wrapped what would be the "mane" of the pony into a loose bun and secure with a clear elastic. The bun should be very loose. I kind of pulled at the bun a little to make it a little messy. Next, secure any stray pieces of hair. I have layers, so I had to bobby pin the back if my hair, but I tried to maintain an organic look. Last, I did a quick spritz of hairspray. I like this look because it feels like summer. I wouldn't wear my hair like this to dinner, but definitely while shopping or at the beach.
