I See Spots

This morning, as I was walking into work I started seeing spots. Don't panic. I was physically fine, but my style ego was not so lucky.

I noticed I was carrying my iPhone in it's cute leopard case. I noticed I was walking in my adorbs leopard heels. I was also sporting my chic leopard umbrella. Fashion faux pas. Seriously, WHEN DID I GET THIS MUCH LEOPARD? If the Fashion Police had been around I would have definitely been arrested.

Not pictured are my phone (hard to take a picture of your phone with your phone) and my umbrella (left at my building's entrance), so you don't get the full effect. But, TRUST ME, I looked like a loon!

Will Work for Furniture & Home Decor

So we've been homeowners for two weeks. I already feel like I need to get a second job to pay for my furniture and home accessories habit. I never thought I'd have to buy this much new stuff! Anyone want to hook me up with free furniture or give me some money? Haha, just kidding...kind of.

I plan on buying a rug for our living room (because the rug we had is too small for the size of the room) soon. Here are the rugs I'm considering. Thoughts?

Can you believe it's Friday, and that we are already a week into July? My dad always told me the older you get the faster time goes. Wow, was he right.

Colored Denim

I've recently started to dabble in the colored denim trend, and I think I really like it. So far, blush pink and mint green are the only colors I've been brave enough to try. Here are a couple of outfits I wore in California. The lighting was low, so you may not be able to get the full effect. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to style them for my body and personality. I'm also on the lookout for new colors. What do you think?

Fourth of July(ish) Nails

Happy Birthday, America!

To be patriotic in a not so obvious way, I gave my nails a little makeover. The blue isn't old glory blue and there are no stripes, but I think it's a great modern look. Instead of screaming "I'm proud to be an American" in an obnoxious  way, my nails are saying "America, yeah it's cool."

What a lucky girl!

So we're back from our trip to Napa, and I have to say that I am one lucky girl. There were times when I had to pinch myself because I couldn't believe this was my real life. It felt like a dream. Being waited on hand and foot was so luxurious it felt wrong! I mean, having fresh peaches pureed for you in the morning (for bellinis, of course!) has got to be some kind of sin, right?! After 9 days of private tours/tastings and being treated like royalty (because my husband is in the food and beverage biz), getting back to reality is almost heart-breaking.

We loved our trip so much, and we can't wait to go back. Special thanks to Cherokee Country Club, Trinchero Family Estates, E.J. Gallo, LVMH, and Constellation for being so hospitable.
